Lost classic, pt. 2

Hanoi Rocks. That Finnish band, whose impact on rock in 80's was much larger than rock scene has thought. They began their career in the beginning of 80's, but their career suddenly met the end, when the drummer, Razzle, passed away in a car accident.

It could be said that the band is lost classic, but I wanted to find their album Oriental Beat after decades. The tapes are lost, so there will not be any remixes of that album. There should be...

Oriental Beat was their second album, and their first album with international distribution. Kerrang editor, Dave Dickson, received album and wrote an article of it. It opened many doors to the band. But let's talk about content.

Motorvatin' starts the album with Sami Yaffa's bass line. If I should name one classic track on Oriental Beat, it would be Motorvatin'. Some other songs, which were played at concerts from album, were Oriental Beat, Devil Woman and Lightnin’ Bar Blues.

But to the point. I'd name lost classic, pt. 2 Teenangels Outsiders from the album. If we think of Hanoi Rocks in the beginning of their career, this track includes all their features: we are young, beautiful and rebels. Enjoy!
